She added, "Fortunately, the doctor who has dealt with many sensitive and timid children like Woo-kyung has amazing child-handling skills. He listened to the child, waited, reassured him, and constantly checked whether the child was in pain while pulling the terrifying anesthesia shot and extractions as if Yuna Kim were doing a triple axel; Woo-kyung didn't cry and bravely got through it!!!!!" She said, "Holding the child's hand and praying again and again, I felt that the parental heart that wants to take the child's pain away even when the child grows up does not change..." expressing tender feelings toward her son.
She confessed, "I was so nervous—what if he suddenly stood up from the chair in the middle… what if he cried, then it would be hard to start again—so many thoughts ran through my head and I was so tense that I felt ashamed as a mother."
She continued, "I had really worried about today for a long time, but I fell in love with the doctor who solved it in a blink with a triple axel. No wonder—there are already more than 10 implants in my mouth, I had gum graft surgery a month ago, my father recently added eight more implants… a family without tooth luck among our five blessings. The whole family is most afraid of the dentist. Come to think of it, three generations of our family go (to this dentist)," she said.

Meanwhile, Lee Ji-hyun married a non-celebrity seven years her senior in 2013 and had one son and one daughter, but they divorced in 2016. She remarried an ophthalmologist the following year but divorced in 2020 and has been raising the two children alone since. Recently she shared that she became a hair designer and revealed she suffers from vitiligo, a refractory skin condition, receiving much support.
