Hip-hop duo Mighty Mouth contributed to the first anniversary memorial concert for the late Wheesung.
Mighty Mouth (Chupflex, Shorry) recently took part in the recording of 'Wheesung tribute x MBC it's Live' at the MBC Media Center public hall in Sangam-dong, Mapo District, Seoul.
'Wheesung tribute x MBC it's Live' was a free concert organized by fellow artists including Mighty Mouth, K.WILL, Soul-G, Bang Yedam and Jung In to commemorate Wheesung's first anniversary. They presented Wheesung's hit songs arranged in a band version on stage, giving fans special memories and resonance.
Among them, Mighty Mouth's Chupflex and Shorry reportedly served as MCs and led the proceedings steadily. Mighty Mouth, who shared a deep friendship with Wheesung, added to the emotion by participating in this concert.
Meanwhile, Mighty Mouth will release their own remake track 'Lalalala (Feat. Minyoung (BBGIRLS))' on the 19th at 6 p.m. on various online music sites. The original song was released in 2011 and became a mainstream hit, appearing on Melon's year-end chart that year; it will be reborn with the duo's upgraded chemistry about 15 years later.
'Wheesung tribute x MBC it's Live' will be released later through MBC's K-pop live content YouTube channel 'it's Live'.
