Additional seats are opening for the group's full-lineup comeback performance at Gwanghwamun Square by BTS.
BTS will hold "BTS comeback live: ARIRANG (BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG)" around Gwanghwamun Square at 8 p.m. on the 21st, and additional seats will be opened to provide a smoother viewing environment.
Additional seats will be set up on the south side of Sejong-daero intersection (from Gwanghwamun Station on Seoul Subway Line 5 to near City Hall Station on Line 1). The entire area will be standing only, and the performance can be viewed on large LED screens installed on site. Ticketing will be free on NOL Ticket, the online reservation site, at 8 p.m. on the 12th, and previous ticket holders will be restricted from booking.
With this, "BTS comeback live: ARIRANG (BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG)" will be joined by about 22,000 spectators. The seating scale was calculated with on-site safety and dispersal of crowds as the top priorities.
BigHit Music and HYBE have also strengthened measures to prevent scalping and unauthorized entry. They plan to proactively block scalping by monitoring illegal transfer posts online in real time and taking down reported posts. In addition, to prevent unauthorized entry, verification procedures will be strengthened for all attendees, and additional authentication will be introduced in areas where ticket scalping is expected to be active. Detailed identity verification procedures will be announced on the related website in advance to minimize on-site congestion.
This performance will be broadcast live simultaneously on Netflix. This is the first time Netflix will stream an artist's solo performance live.
BTS will release their fifth full-length album ARIRANG on the 20th at 1 p.m. The new album's title track, "SWIM," sings about the attitude of continuing to swim forward amid life's waves. RM took charge of most of the lyrics, adding sincerity.
