ENHYPEN member Heeseung will leave the team and transition to a solo singer.
Belift Lab Inc. announced on its official SNS on the 10th about ENHYPEN's future activity direction.
The agency said, "We have reflected on and discussed the direction and next goals ENHYPEN should pursue. We had in-depth conversations about each member's envisioned future and the team's direction, and during that process we confirmed that Heeseung's musical orientation is clear and decided to respect it."
Accordingly, Heeseung will separate from ENHYPEN, and ENHYPEN will continue activities as a six-member group.
ENHYPEN said, "It is difficult to fully explain the whole process in a short statement, but we want to say this was a decision made after long and careful consideration. We know this news may be difficult for all fans to accept with the same feelings. Even so, we ask for your generous understanding that this decision is a choice for ENHYPEN's and Heeseung's future."
It added, "ENHYPEN will do its best to show ENGENE consistent performances and energy. Also, Heeseung will meet you through a solo album as an artist under Belift Lab Inc."
Formed through Mnet's audition program "I-LAND," ENHYPEN debuted on Nov. 30, 2020, and has received global fans' love for its distinctive team narrative and overwhelming performances, and in January released and promoted its seventh mini album, THE SIN : VANISH.
