On the 9th, Cheonan City released a short titled "The current status of Joseon's greatest power holder, who died and is watching the highway from the first row" on its official YouTube channel. The video begins by mentioning that Yeongwol, the place of Danjong's exile, is receiving attention because of the film's success.
In the video, Cheonan City cheerfully opens by saying, "Yeongwol became very hot as a 10-million-viewer movie was born," and "Cheonan must be known too, so we'll try to piggyback on it." It then says, "One of the characters in the film has a tomb in Cheonan," introducing the tomb site of Han Myeong-hoe located in Sokchang-ri, Susin-myeon, Dongnam District, Cheonan, South Chungcheong Province.
However, Cheonan City added that it does not operate any special tourist content related to that figure. In the video, it explains, "Cheonan does not hold any cultural festivals or events related to that person," and "you can just pass by."
It then gives directions to the tomb site based on the northbound lanes of the Gyeongbu Expressway, saying, "When you see a Cheonan city sign and greenhouses, you're almost there," and even provides specific "how to find it" tips.
It also added a request that "because Cheonan residents live nearby, please do not shout," which drew laughter.
