Band DAY6 member Wonpil will make a solo comeback on the 30th after four years.
JYP Entertainment posted a sound film poster announcing Wonpil's new solo album on DAY6's official SNS channel on the afternoon of the 9th. According to it, Wonpil will present his first mini album that concentrates his sensitivity, 'Unpiltered (Unpiltered),' at 6 p.m. on the 30th.
The released teaser content drew viewers' attention with Wonpil's dreamy atmosphere. As Wonpil wiped the moisture that had filled the windowpane, the dripping droplets conveyed an emotional line, and his plaintive voice sang "I'm only breathing emptily, I'm not alright, oh god save me," heightening curiosity about the new song.
Wonpil debuted with DAY6 in September 2015 and has steadily participated in songwriting as well as establishing himself as an emotional singer-songwriter through his instrumental and vocal skills. Having formed empathy through his inherently delicate expressive style, attention is focused on the music and message Wonpil will deliver with his new work about four years after his first solo album, Filmography, in February 2022.
Wonpil's first mini album "Unpiltered" will be officially released at 6 p.m. on the 30th.
