'Chosun's lover' entertainer Hong Seok-cheon shared a special family story with his adopted daughter, and the adopted daughter and niece explained the reason she calls him uncle instead of dad.
On the 9th episode of the TV CHOSUN variety show Chosun's lover, Hong Seok-cheon appeared as the new lover and revealed his daughter's wedding preparations.

The two children are listed as Hong Seok-cheon's children on the actual family relationship certificate.
Hong Seok-cheon said, "My first daughter is getting married," explaining why he appeared on the show. When the producers asked, "We heard you have something important tomorrow," he said, "The in-laws are in Busan," explaining that he had come down from Seoul to Busan for the formal meeting. He added, "The other parents probably only know me from television," and said, "So I want to tell them directly what kind of person I am," revealing his nervousness ahead of the first formal meeting.
That day the adopted daughter Hong Joo-eun also made a surprise appearance. She introduced herself as "my uncle's daughter" and said she is preparing to marry the boyfriend she has been dating for two years.
What drew particular attention was the form of address. The reason she still calls Hong Seok-cheon, who is legally her father, "uncle" was revealed. Hong Joo-eun said, "He was recognized as my dad a long time ago," but explained, "I have called him uncle since I was young, so calling him dad overnight feels awkward." She added, "If uncle wants me to call him dad, I can call him that anytime," and honestly said, "But I don't know if he would want that. Actually, it doesn't matter whether the title is uncle or dad."
Facing his daughter's wedding, Hong Seok-cheon also confessed mixed feelings. He laughed, "I used to wonder why I had to follow friends and acquaintances to weddings, but now my children are at the age to get married," Then he said, "It makes me feel unsettled to think my daughter is getting married," revealing the feelings of a father sending off his daughter.<
