Dragon Pony held a showcase celebrating the release of their third EP RUN RUN RUN on the afternoon of the 10th at YES24 Wonderlock Hall in Seodaemun District, Seoul, and talked about the new album.
Dragon Pony's new title track "Ah, everything goes my way!" is like a spell cast on oneself, containing the passionate cry of youth who want to live true to themselves rather than by standards set by the world. From the song's intro with a technical and graceful guitar riff that grabs the ear, the richly layered instrumental sounds surge with powerful energy.
Ahn Taegyu described the new song as "a song that contains a cry to live true to oneself rather than follow standards set by the world. The point is the instruments that accumulate in diverse ways. There is a lot of intense playing, so it's fun to listen to. It feels like casting a spell on myself, making me feel like anything could happen," he said.
He added, "We really thought now is the time for us to do well. It feels like we should follow the title. I think it's the song we needed most after putting in so much effort. It's a song the members unanimously liked," showing confidence.
Meanwhile, Dragon Pony's third EP RUN RUN RUN will be released at 6 p.m. that day on various music streaming sites.
