The intense interest of global music fans in the comeback-bound group CORTIS's new release was proven in numbers.
According to HYBE Music Group label BigHit Music, CORTIS (Martin, James, Juhun, Seonghyun, Gunho)'s mini 2nd album "GREENGREEN," which was released on the 10th, ranked eighth in the pre-save category on the global audio·music streaming platform Spotify. This is an index that aggregates pre-save numbers for albums and singles worldwide and serves as a gauge of listeners' expectations for a work before its release. It is highly unusual for a K-pop rookie group to enter the top 10.
The fact that it rose to eighth globally in just four days since the April 6 announcement of GREENGREEN shows remarkable momentum. In particular, it draws attention for placing in the top 10 alongside major artists such as BTS, who firmly hold first place, Noah Kahan, Ye, and Charlie Puth.
CORTIS earlier proved their global streaming power with their debut album COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES. That record reached 100 million streams on Spotify about a month after its release (Oct. 12, 2025). It then surpassed 200 million (Nov. 27, 2025), 300 million (Jan. 8, 2026) and 400 million (Feb. 26, 2026) plays at roughly one-month intervals. The intro track "GO!" also became the fastest K-pop boy group song released last year to reach 100 million streams. The group's monthly listeners (listeners in the most recent 28 days) peaked at 8.36 million and, as of the latest data (Mar. 8), maintained about 7.7 million, proving steady popularity.
CORTIS's mini 2nd album "GREENGREEN" will be released on May 4. Before that, they plan to release the title track on April 20 and meet fans. Their new release is drawing much attention after the debut album achieved double million-seller status by Circle Chart standards and other strong accomplishments.
