Dalla Dalla, which will be released on Mar. 24 (Tue), is a U.S. wandering variety show with no plans and no script featuring Lee Seo-jin and producer Na Young-seok. Lee Seo-jin, who treats Texas as his second hometown and is a self-proclaimed "Texas enthusiast," and Na Young-seok's party, who followed him in a close-knit group, deliver a rollicking journey full of laughs.
Following the hit 'Three Idiots in Kenya,' a travelogue from reliable laugh makers Lee Soo-keun, Eun Ji-won and Kyuhyun about Africa's Kenya, expectations are high as Na Young-seok's team presents its second variety show on Netflix.
Meanwhile, the released main poster and trailer raise expectations for a trip full of Lee Seo-jin's unique romanticism. First, Lee Seo-jin's dimpled, beaming smile in the poster fully conveys the excitement of the Texas trip. It adds to the anticipation of how Lee Seo-jin's guaranteed tastes and fun in Texas will unfold.
The released main trailer hints at a Texas trip that is completely unpredictable. Lee Seo-jin, who revealed boundless pride for Texas and rejected ordinary from the start, makes the following travel course unpredictable as well. At times he explodes with coolness during a "cowboy" shooting experience as if possessed by a western, and at a football stadium he reveals his hidden "fanboy" enthusiasm wearing a "Dallas Cowboys" T-shirt. With a NASA tour and a nostalgic roller rink, the freewheeling trip that could go anywhere adds to the fun. A trip that follows only Lee Seo-jin's tastes and is unlike anything seen before is already much anticipated.
Producer Na Young-seok, who rated Lee Seo-jin's guide score a "10 out of 10," said, "Because the boss travels exactly as he wants, if this were a travel agency there would have been a lot of refund requests, but as someone who is directionally challenged and likes to follow wherever others suggest, he was a perfect guide for me," and added, "You'll also discover a different side of Lee Seo-jin who buys and keeps souvenirs from wherever he goes, so please look forward to it."
Producer Kim Ye-seul also said, "He picked special destinations and provided a variety of helpful explanations; he's a substantial guide. But his unexpectedly lax side made the production team anxious and created a dynamic trip," and added, "Seeing him enjoy himself like a child was surprising, and even crew members who weren't interested became enchanted by how fully he immersed himself," teasing a new charm that stimulated anticipation.
The special U.S. wandering variety show 'Lee Seo-jin's Dalla Dalla,' featuring 15 years of true-friend vibes between Lee Seo-jin and Na Young-seok's team, will be available exclusively on Netflix on Mar. 24 (Tue).
