Actor Jang Nara's side clarified that the various allegations currently being mentioned are not true regarding the recent sad news about a former agency official and expressed a cautious stance.
On the 10th, Jang Nara's side told multiple media outlets, "I'm very cautious about what to say, but Jang Nara and her current agency have nothing to do with the issues being mentioned," delivering an official position.
The reason Jang Nara's side drew a clear line like this was because of a report by one media outlet that occurred the day before. Earlier, that outlet reported that an official of Jang Nara's agency was found dead after leaving a will, adding that there had been conflicts related to recent investment issues in the background, which caused a stir.
However, upon verification, this was not true. Jang Nara's side said, "Jang Nara has already left the agency (Lael BNC) and is active independently," and "She signed an exclusive contract in January last year, but already terminated the contract and parted ways in August of the same year," drawing a line. In other words, there is currently no business connection remaining between the deceased and Jang Nara.
They also strongly denied the "legal conflict due to investment issues" raised by some outlets. A representative warned against overinterpretation, saying, "There are reports that there were agency investments or legal disputes, but these are completely unrelated to this incident." They made it clear that the deceased's death was not due to conflicts with Jang Nara, her current agency, or the former agency that had already parted ways.
While expressing condolences to the deceased, Jang Nara's side appears to have released its position after careful consideration to correct misunderstandings arising from the artist's name being associated with an unsavory incident.
