The group MONSTA X opened the curtain on their full-scale Asia tour by successfully completing their Bangkok concert.
MONSTA X on the 7th (local time) at Thunderdome Muang Thong Thani in Bangkok, Thailand held '2026 MONSTA X WORLD TOUR [THE X : NEXUS] IN BANGKOK (2026 MONSTA X WORLD TOUR [THE X : NEXUS] IN BANGKOK)'.
This concert was the first stage of MONSTA X's new 2026 world tour "The X : Nexus" Asia tour and their first solo concert in Thailand in about seven years since the 2019 world tour "We Are Here (WE ARE HERE)." With the announcement of the event, the hot response from local Monbebe (official fan club name) continued, generating expectations even before the concert.
After a long wait, amid the cheers of Monbebe who came to the venue, MONSTA X opened brilliantly with "DRAMARAMA." They continued with title tracks that show MONSTA X's roots with "Love Killa" and "Rush Hour," and raised the mood at once by consecutively performing "LONE RANGER" and "Catch Me Now."
The members greeted the Thai Monbebe they met after a long time in Thai they had practiced and actively interacted with fans. They then conveyed MONSTA X's unique sensibility with a stand-microphone performance of "MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT," and revealed diverse musical colors with "Deny" and "AND." They also performed "Do What I Want" and "N the Front" from last September's mini album "THE X" for the first time for Thai fans, and showcased Jooheon's self-composed song "Tuscan Leather," bringing the concert's heat to a peak.
The heat continued as solo stages unfolded. Shownu showed a commanding presence filling the stage with "Around & Go," Kihyun displayed solid vocals and charisma with "Howling," Hyungwon delivered a graceful performance with the dreamy charm of "NO AIR," and Minhyuk moved the audience with "Reaching," which added guitar playing. Finally, Jooheon capped off the solo stages with intense rapping in his recently released solo mini 2nd album tracks "STING (Feat. Muhammad Ali)" and "When my head touches the sky (Feat. Tiger JK)."
Starting with "Autobahn," the title track medley continuing with "Beautiful Liar," "Alligator," and "Shoot Out" drew explosive responses from the audience. MONSTA X went into the crowd to get closer to fans, and amid waves of lightsticks filling the venue completed an emotional finale with "Fire & Ice."
There were also surprise events by Thai Monbebe at the concert. Fans not only held a heartfelt slogan event saying "We will celebrate the 100th anniversary with you, not the 11th," but also surprised the members by revealing a preprepared VCR, giving them deep emotion.
MONSTA X through their agency Starship Entertainment said, "Even though it's our first time back on a Thai stage in seven years, we could still feel the passionate cheers and energy, which made it a moving experience. In particular, the fact that Monbebe prepared an event themselves was so warm, and it feels like we can start the rest of the tour even more energetically. With the energy gained from this concert, we'll continue to show great and diverse stages, so please look forward to and support us a lot," they noted.
Starting with the Bangkok concert, MONSTA X, embarking on the full-scale "The X : Nexus" Asia tour, will continue that momentum in Malaysia on the 28th.
