Go Youn-jung displayed unexpected variety show talent
On the 8th broadcast of MBC variety show 'Manitto Club' episode 6, the Manitto members' gift-delivery mission continued, unfolding a game of hide-and-seek with chasing and being chased.
On that day, Go Youn-jung delivered the first gift to her Manitto, Park Myung Soo, and then prepared a second gift. After learning that Park Myung Soo liked ginseng, she attracted attention by making a red ginseng cake herself on set.
Meanwhile, headquarters announced, "The identity of the Manitto will be revealed at 9 p.m. tonight." Park Myung Soo, who had only received a gift once, expressed disappointment, saying, "The bread was tasty, but there wasn't anything after that, was there?"
In response, Go Youn-jung hurriedly moved to deliver the second gift before Park Myung Soo headed to headquarters. She found the cafe where Park Myung Soo was and secretly succeeded in delivering the gift.
But Park Myung Soo sensed something suspicious, came out of the cafe and began looking around. At that moment, he came face to face with Go Youn-jung's car as she was leaving the scene, and he sprinted after it. However, Go Youn-jung's car left the scene by a hair, and Park Myung Soo grumbled, "It's a thief and a police officer — what kind of Manitto is this?" bringing laughter.
After arriving at headquarters, Park Myung Soo began to deduce after reading the letter left by the Manitto. He pointed to Hong Jin Kyung, saying, "When I saw the letter, the handwriting was terrible. It looked like a friend who didn't study much."
But when the Manitto's identity was revealed as Go Youn-jung, Park Myung Soo was embarrassed and dismayed, and Hong Jin Kyung said, "I'll get up and carry it," which drew laughter.
After that, the six formed a team and began the "secret Manitto" mission. Their secret Manitto was "Bucheon fire station." While preparing special desserts along with lunch boxes, Park Myung Soo led the conversation with Go Youn-jung, who silently focused only on cooking. When asked about her activities in the entertainment industry, Go Youn-jung confessed, "It's so much fun. How would I have known to make Dubai jjondeuk cookie while at university with a senior?"
Then Park Myung Soo said, "I didn't graduate from college," but Go Youn-jung candidly revealed, "I didn't either. I dropped out," which brought laughter. Also, in response to Kim Do-hoon's question of "Why did you become a comedian?" Park Myung Soo said, "Because I was ugly. When I went to serve (part-time), they said I was the only one who got rejected when they saw me. They soon hired me," which brought a somber mood.
