Debuting in her 21st year, Stephanie reveals she is still in a relationship.
The 355th episode of KBS Joy's 'Ask Anything', which airs at 8 p.m. on Monday the 9th, features Stephanie, who debuted in 2005 as a member of the girl group The Grace and is known as one of the top dance talents among idols.
She debuted with The Grace and enjoyed mainstream popularity within two years, but halted activities four years after debut due to injury. After undergoing rehabilitation in the United States, she joined a ballet company and said she is scheduled for a nationwide tour, sharing an update on her current life.
But a single phrase that gradually accumulated into pain — "She can do everything well, so why didn't it work out?" — became a major life concern, and she said that drove her to visit 'Ask Anything.'
In response, Lee Soo-keun said, "What do you mean it didn't work out? Did you earn less money?" showing puzzlement, and toward Stephanie, who continued her story, he also said, "She is satisfied."
Stephanie said, "I sharpen my teeth and risk my life to put on a stage, but some people say, 'Why didn't you win on Immortal Songs?'" Upon hearing this, Seo Jang-hoon and Lee Soo-keun were taken aback and said, "Being successful means Immortal Songs would invite you," and "Someone who didn't do well couldn't have stayed active for 21 years," thereby dismissing the concern itself.
As Stephanie continued her story, Seo Jang-hoon said, "It's because you have a strong desire to do well yourself," and added, "Being able to work a long time is also an ability," while Lee Soo-keun cheered, "More people know that you work hard and do well."
It is reported that she revealed she is "still seeing" former U.S. major leaguer Brady Anderson, with whom she drew attention for a 23-year age difference. Their relationship was first reported exclusively by OSEN in 2020.
