'Single's Inferno5' cast member Kim Go-eun denied allegations of plastic surgery.
On the 7th, a video titled 'Chatting while doing Single's Inferno sunburn makeup | Can we get this close...?' was posted on Kim Go-eun's YouTube channel 'Goni goeun'.
The video showed Kim Go-eun, who appeared on 'Single's Inferno5', revealing her signature "sunburn" makeup tutorial that many viewers had wondered about. Kim Go-eun introduced the products she actually uses, from base work to shading, eye makeup, blush and lip, while sharing various stories.
In particular, Kim Go-eun shared behind-the-scenes stories from her appearance on 'Single's Inferno', her experiences after winning Miss Korea, episodes with fellow 'Single's Inferno5' cast members Sian, Haejin and Heeseon, and behind-the-scenes details about the contact lens gift from Seongmin, her final couple, communicating closely with fans.
While doing her makeup, Kim Go-eun also addressed the plastic surgery allegations. She said, "I get asked a lot whether I had facial contour surgery, but my jaw is naturally on the smaller side genetically. It's like that on my mother's side," and added, "So it's a complex. This area is indented a lot and looks like a shadow, so I bring it out with makeup. I used to put on highlighter, too."
She continued, "When I went to dermatologists, some doctors suggested trying filler in this area, but I didn't have such procedures and thought I'd cover it with makeup," adding, "I didn't expect to hear that I had 'rotating shavings.' People often tell me my face looks slender, but I had never heard the term 'rotating shavings' before. I think I looked that way because I had lost a lot of weight at the time."
Kim Go-eun also said about her appearance on 'Single's Inferno5', "When the offer first came after I won Miss Korea, I couldn't appear because I was in a relationship. Later, I received a casting offer again and joined this season."
