Actor Park Kyung-hye ultimately had her car towed.
On the 8th, the YouTube channel "Kyung-hye wants to see" posted a video titled "After a rat attack, this time a 'broken car'."
Earlier in a vlog, issues had occurred such as the car battery corroding so the engine would not start and the heated seat (engdda) breaking. As usual, starting the video solemnly, Park Kyung-hye revealed, "I came out to go to a screening now, and when I tried to move the car it suddenly wouldn't go forward. I thought something was caught, but the tire was punctured."
She continued, "This is really something I've never experienced before. It ran so well until yesterday, so I'm going to contact the insurance company first," and she contacted the insurer.
However, the car could not be repaired. A spring had aged and broken, and the broken spring scraped the tire and tore it. When she was told the car would even need to be towed, Park Kyung-hye contacted the repair shop in the neighborhood where she used to live and requested a tow.
Park Kyung-hye explained, "They said the spring inside the car had aged and rusted, and the spring scraped the tire and tore it. I haven't lived here long, so I don't have a familiar repair shop in this neighborhood yet, so I first contacted the repair shop where I used to live."
There was another problem. Park Kyung-hye called the repair shop to check the parts, but the shop said that if the parts were to be replaced, the spring's elasticity could differ and both sides might need to be replaced, so the repair could cost about 400,000 won. At this, Park Kyung-hye sighed, "Should I change the car?"
Grateful that there had been no accident while driving, Park Kyung-hye shared a positive thought, "In a way, I think I'm lucky."
