Singer Ailee met a face-reading expert in person after repeated comments criticized her husband Choi Si-hoon's facial features.

That day Choi Si-hoon said, "In the early days of our relationship, with our dating news, wedding news, and various things we do together, about 60% to 70% of the comments were like, 'Ah, Choi Si-hoon's face looks cold.' In my life I've heard comments like, 'Si-hoon, you really have a lucky face' so many times," he confessed.
In response, Ailee said, "So I decided to go see an expert and have my husband's face read. I'm so excited right now," and asked, "When you first heard comments like 'your face looks cold,' how did you feel?" Choi Si-hoon candidly replied, "I'm not easily bothered by things like this. But so many people say it that I got curious. Is my face cold? Is there something about me I don't know? What do you think my face looks like?"
Then Ailee said, "When I first met him without knowing him, I thought he was a cold person. But after getting to know him, he was so warm, and that was a surprise. I saw those comments: 'I saw the eyes of someone in love on Single's Inferno, but he doesn't look at me with those eyes, so he doesn't love me.' There were comments like that. But I think that's one-sided—people don't know what expression my husband had when he first met me. I know. Now, after dating for one year and being married for one year, I think that even within comfort love exists, trust exists, and faith exists, and I really like that. I still sometimes feel butterflies for my husband. Not every time, but sometimes," she drew a line.
Afterward, the two met a face-reading expert and talked about their facial features. The expert noted that the two have completely opposite facial features and said, "Ailee has three-dimensional features and Si-hoon has flatter features. Looking at Ailee's face, it's three-dimensional and round, so people think she seems warm, whereas Si-hoon's features are sharp. His nose bridge is sharp and his jawline is angular—there's nothing round. So people's impression may be that Si-hoon seems a bit cold.
