Famous influencer (TikToker) and mother of three Rachel Tursi (47) died from complications after an abdominal cosmetic surgery (abdominoplasty, tummy tuck), shocking her fans. The video capturing her last moments as she went under the knife dreaming of a fresh start has become a memorial space that brings many to tears.
On the 7th (local time), according to the Daily Mail's report, Rachel Tursi had been sharing her so-called 'Mommy Makeover' cosmetic surgery journey with her followers as if live-streaming on the 25th of last month. In a video released just before the surgery she said, "Please pray for me. I have waited for this moment for a very long time," and, smiling brightly, said, "I am in good hands, and I know God is watching over me. Let's do this," showing a hopeful demeanor.
But according to her husband Jeremy Tursi, the routine cosmetic procedure quickly turned into a nightmare. Jeremy said he received an urgent call while waiting for his wife in the recovery room, and the attending doctor had reassured him, "The surgery went well," and left for the day. However, not long after he witnessed a change in his wife's complexion, and Rachel stopped responding.
The husband raised strong suspicions about the medical staff's response at the time. He said, "I'm just an ordinary construction worker, but I could tell something was wrong. Yet the medical staff showed no sense of urgency," expressing his anger. The bereaved family hired an attorney to determine the exact cause of why this surgery ended in tragedy. Jeremy suggested legal action, saying, "This appears to be someone's incompetence and mistake. Someone clearly made an error."
