Hollywood star Hilary Duff (38) opened up about her feelings regarding the daring bed scene she performed while filming the American drama 'Gossip Girl' in the past.
According to a Daily Mail report on the 7th (local time), Hilary Duff recently appeared on Harper's Bazaar's interview segment "Burning Questions" and cited a scene from the drama 'Gossip Girl' as the most memorable moment in her acting career.
Having appeared in 2009's 'Gossip Girl' season 3 as film actress Olivia Burke, Hilary Duff recalled the time and smiled as she answered, "Maybe the 'threesome (three-person bed scene)' was the most singular moment."
In the story, Olivia enrolls at New York University (NYU) and dreams of an ordinary life, forming an unusual triangle with Dan Humphrey (played by Penn Badgley) and Vanessa Abrams (played by Jessica Szohr). Ultimately, the daring development in which the three spent the night together shocked viewers at the time.
Duff added, "I remember thinking while filming that scene, 'Oh my god, if this airs my mom will definitely call,'" prompting laughter on set.
She also revealed an episode she experienced during a recent trip to Paris. After losing her luggage she went to an airline employee, who bluntly asked, "Weren't you on 'Gossip Girl'?" Duff replied, "Yes. I'm so glad you remember me that way," underscoring the continuing popularity of the drama.
As a child she was loved as "America's little sister" through works such as 'Casper and Wendy' and 'Lizzie McGuire,' and for her the role in 'Gossip Girl' was a bold challenge that solidified her position as an adult actress.
Meanwhile, Duff returned to her primary profession as a singer, releasing a new album in 10 years titled luck... or something. In particular, the inclusion of the track "We Don't Talk," which she acknowledged deals with the estrangement from her older sister Haylie Duff after they had not spoken since 2019, attracted attention.
She told CBS in an interview, "The loneliest part of my life is that my sister is not currently in my life," and added, "Because it's my reality, I decided to include it on the album," eliciting fans' sympathy.
She is the mother of four children in total: three daughters with her husband Matthew Koma and a son from her previous marriage.<
