My Little Old Boy actor Kim Seung-soo expressed his frustration over an absurd AI fake news story circulating about him.
On the 8th episode of SBS' My Little Old Boy (hereinafter "My Little Old Boy"), the surprising daily life of actor Ko Joo-won, the "prince of the living-room theater world" who lacks nothing in acting, appearance, or education, was revealed.
Lee Min Woo said, "There was even fake news that he was already married to Kim Seo-hyung," noting, "They immediately posted a clarification on the portal site. It was a data entry mistake," which surprised everyone. It was an absurd incident in which, despite having no acquaintance at all, a system error instantly linked them as a married couple.
Lee Min Woo went on to recount an anecdote, saying, "Once a junior said that some reporter was looking for oppa's hidden son," noting that the rumor was so serious that there were reporters going around looking for a son who did not exist.
Kim Seung-soo began, "I worked on a variety show with Pak Se-ri, and because of that I thought I was going to die," revealing the extreme pain he suffered from the recent proliferation of AI-based fake news. The absurd rumor that the two were married was generated simply because they appeared together on a variety show.
Kim Seung-soo went on to mention even more absurd rumor content. He said that there was even information spreading that "I already lived together after marriage," pointing out the seriousness of the fake news.
