Group SHINee member ONEW will open a pop-up store to celebrate the release of his new record.
ONEW will operate the pop-up store ONEW 5TH EP "TOUGH LOVE" POP-UP STORE from the 8th to the 15th at Yeonghwa 104 in Seongdong-gu, Seoul.
Held to commemorate the release of the fifth mini album "TOUGH LOVE," this pop-up is set up as experiential spaces where fans can directly enjoy a variety of experiences, including photo zones, message zones and event zones.
In particular, visual objects that capture the album's mood based on pink and green colors will be placed throughout to enhance immersion. Merchandise released to commemorate the release of "TOUGH LOVE" is also expected to attract great interest from fans.
"TOUGH LOVE" departs from predictable love stories and weaves the "various facets of love" we encounter in the world into an album like a novel. ONEW wrote the lyrics for all the songs and, for the first time since his debut, participated in composing, strengthening his presence as a producer as well as an artist.
Five songs that showcase ONEW's sensibility are included, including the title track of the same name "TOUGH LOVE," "Dot dot dot (...)", "Flex on me", "Lie" and "X, Oh Why?" Among them, "TOUGH LOVE" was completed after close collaboration with leading overseas producers whom ONEW met directly, showing that ONEW's musical scope has expanded globally.
Meanwhile, the fifth mini album "TOUGH LOVE," which proclaims the expansion of ONEW's unique musical worldview, will be released through various music sites at 6 p.m. on the 9th. Ahead of that, a one-minute highlight music video of the title track "TOUGH LOVE" will be pre-released from 3 p.m. on the 8th on a large panoramic electronic billboard inside Seoul Station.
