Singer Park Gun once again directly denied divorce and discord rumors with his wife Han Young, emphasizing "there is no problem."
Park Gun appeared on KBS 1TV's Morning Yard - SsangSsang Party, broadcast on the 6th, and gave an honest stance on the recent rumors about the couple. That day he said, "There have been many stories like divorce rumors and discord rumors, but we view them with gratitude," and "Because many people show interest, it seems such stories also arise."
He added, "Sometimes mothers I pass by ask, 'Is Park Gun okay?'" and emphasized, "So I tell them not to worry. We are always doing well."
He especially showed affection for his wife on the broadcast. Park Gun publicly expressed his affection, saying, "My beloved honey, thank you for always being considerate of my shortcomings and for taking good care of me. I will work harder from now on. I love you."
The couple Park Gun and Han Young are in their fourth year of marriage and recently were caught up in separation and discord rumors. In particular, speculation continued that there might be problems between the couple after it became known that Park Gun was living in a tent in Goesan, North Chungcheong Province.
However, Park Gun previously denied the separation rumors on SBS's My Little Old Boy in January, explaining, "Currently, as a reporter for 6 O'Clock My Hometown, I have many regional shoots, so I am staying briefly to reduce travel burden."
He also addressed the other controversy over reports of a 'lack of physical affection.' He explained, "Because of the baby, my wife had been going to the hospital for nearly two years and was physically and mentally very exhausted," adding, "She was in such a sensitive state that even if I moved while she was sleeping she would wake up. That story was exaggerated and turned into an article saying 'there is no physical affection.'"
He went on, "These days when I get home I am sometimes the first to hug her," saying there is absolutely no problem in the current marital relationship.
Han Young also dismissed the discord rumors during a phone call. She said, "I didn't even know fake news was circulating," and drew a line, saying, "We really have no problems. As a couple we may bicker, but it does not mean there is a problem in our relationship."
Park Gun recently also addressed the rumors through social media. He said, "Absurd stories are circulating, but we are doing well as always," and added, "Even in busy daily life, I am grateful for the time we can eat together, laugh and leave a photo."
Along with that, he posted a photo of dining out with his wife and added, "I appreciate the concern people have shown. Today, too, we are spending an ordinary and healthy day," once again dismissing the divorce rumors.
