KBS2 'Sadanggwi' broadcaster Yang Jun-hyuk will give the first public tour of his ocean-view Pohang APT.
KBS 2TV 'The boss's ears are donkey ears' (directed by Choi Seung-hee, hereafter "Sadanggwi") is a program for Korean bosses' voluntary role reversal and self-reflection to create workplaces that make people want to work. The last episode recorded a peak rating of 5.2%, continuing its streak as the No. 1 entertainment program in the same time slot for 195 consecutive weeks. (Nielsen Korea)
On the episode airing on the 8th (Sun), episode 347 of "Sadanggwi," Yang Jun-hyuk invites his in-laws to a housewarming at the Pohang APT he recently moved into. Having moved into an ocean-view APT with a view of the Guryongpo sea from the window, Yang Jun-hyuk plans a surprise housewarming that even his wife does not know about before he finishes unpacking.
With Yang Jun-hyuk's father-in-law, mother-in-law, brother-in-law, cousin sister-in-law and nephews and nieces all turning out, Yang Jun-hyuk reveals the behind-the-scenes story of marrying a wife 19 years his junior, saying, "After courting her for 10 years I won her heart, but I was despairing when her family opposed it."
Yang Jun-hyuk said, "There are rumors that my wife married me because of my wealth, but that is not true. At the time of our marriage I had failed in business," expressing gratitude to the wife who decided to marry him when he had nothing. In particular, when he said he had poured his affection in for 10 years to win his wife's heart, Kim Sook said, "That's true love," becoming overly absorbed in their marriage story.
In the end, the wife who accepted Yang Jun-hyuk's heart said, "On Parents' Day I sent a message to my parents notifying them that there was someone I wanted to marry," attracting attention. Yang Jun-hyuk's father-in-law confessed his feelings at the time, saying, "When I heard my daughter was going to marry someone 19 years younger, I woke up and cried in the middle of the night," wiping away tears. The father-in-law said, "I was born in '60 and my son-in-law was born in '69. If my son-in-law had been born in the 1970s I might have worried less," to which Yang Jun-hyuk nodded and said, "I would have opposed it too."
The behind-the-scenes story of Yang Jun-hyuk's marriage, which suffered many trials such as being plagued by fake news and opposition from family because of a 19-year age gap, and Yang Jun-hyuk's new Pohang house with a view of the Guryongpo sea will be revealed on the "Sadanggwi" main broadcast.
