Singer Lee Sona was chosen as the final jin of "Miss Trot 4" and won the competition, expressing filial piety toward her mother who is battling illness.

Lee Sona is a designated transmitter of Gyeonggi folk songs, national intangible cultural heritage No. 57, and has devoted herself to gugak for more than 20 years. After encountering the geomungo and samgomu (三鼓舞) as an elementary school student, she early showed promise by taking first place in the gugak category at the 2004 Gangwon-do middle and high school comprehensive practical competition.
Afterward she attended the National High School of Traditional Arts and the Korea National University of Arts' traditional arts institute, following what is known as the gugak elite course, and she poured all the skill she had built up into appearing on "Miss Trot 4." On the final episode of "Miss Trot 4" broadcast on the 5th, the TOP5 — Gil Ryeowon, Yoon Taehwa, Lee Sona, Hong Seongyun and Her Chanmi — performed the final mission, the "life song mission." At that time Lee Sona captivated the audience by passionately singing Patti Kim's "Love is the flower of life."
Especially, Her Chanmi held first place in the midrank with 1,973 points, while Lee Sona had 1,972 points, a difference of just one point.
