Former Wonder Girls members Sunye and Yubin revealed anecdotes from their trainee days and early debut.
On the broadcast of KBS 2TV Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant on the 6th, Sunye invited Wonder Girls' eldest sister Yubin and After School leader Gahee to her home and served a meal she had prepared herself.
That day Sunye had carefully prepared a variety of dishes to welcome the two. Seeing the dishes set on the table, Gahee and Yubin repeatedly expressed their admiration.
When Gahee marveled, "Look at her knife skills. It's not ordinary," Yubin said, "Sunye has liked cooking since she was young." She recalled, "When we lived in the dorm as trainees she often made things like tteokbokki for us."
When Gahee asked, "She was really young then. How old was she?" Yubin answered, "She was in high school." Gahee could not hide her surprise, saying, "She was in high school and made all that in the dorm?"
The three naturally also talked about their past activities. When Gahee asked, "What did you do for fun while promoting? Didn't you go to places like clubs?" Yubin revealed an unexpected anecdote.
Yubin said, "When Yeeun and Sunye turned 20, producer Park Jin-Young said, 'To celebrate becoming adults I'll give you a club tour,'" adding, "I was already an adult, but he took the three of us."
Sunye added, "He said you should learn about alcohol from adults and taught us about drinking." She explained, "It seemed he wanted us to experience alcohol and club culture in a healthy way from the perspective of a good adult, not to learn about them negatively," which added a warm feeling.
Meanwhile, Sunye stopped group activities in 2013, married a husband who was a former missionary, and has three daughters.<
