'NaSolSagye' star Mister Kim and 'I'm SOLO' 28th season contestant Sunja are dating.
Mister Kim confessed on the 5th during a live broadcast on the YouTube channel 'Chonjange Entertainment TV' for the SBS Plus and ENA variety show I'm SOLO, the love continues (hereafter 'NaSolSagye') that he is dating 28th season contestant Sunja.
Mister Kim said, "I think many people already know, and that's correct. I've thought a lot about what to say," adding, "I'm seeing 28th season contestant Sunja. To put it briefly, many people have no connection to 28th season contestant Sunja and ask if Yeongsu built a bridge for us, but that's not the case."
He went on, "I went to a pop-up event hosted by 28th season contestant Yeongsu. I was there and Sunja, whose home was nearby, came. We ran into each other and talked; our conversation flowed and I felt a lot of attraction. We exchanged messages and I gathered the courage to speak first," he revealed.
However, Mister Kim had said during his introduction on 'NaSolSagye' that he would avoid long-distance relationships and meeting someone with a child. But Sunja is a divorced single parent with a child.
Mister Kim said, "Many people wonder, but during my introduction on 'NaSolSagye' I said I couldn't do long-distance relationships and I couldn't be with someone who has a child. I've tried long-distance dating a few times and drew a clear line that it's really not easy, but I've never met someone with a child. It's an unknown area; I had worries and fears about entering an area I hadn't been to, and given my age, I feared I might not take an easy path but one that is not easy."
He added, "Of course it's not an easy path. I'm taking that difficult path step by step for that one person, and I saw that person when the show aired for the 28th season, and Sunja didn't come off well. I thought, 'Could that be true?' but in person she doesn't seem like that and she's pretty," and, "Her personality isn't that extreme. If she had that personality I would have disliked her too. She's smart, cute, playful and cheerful. My words may lack credibility, but Yeongsu said the same," he said affectionately.
He also said, "Many people will have that thought. People say they met people like themselves, and that's true. Not in a negative way, but I think we have similar vibes, we get along well, we met someone like ourselves. Now that person is being hurt by bad comments, so instead of attacking that person, attack me. I hope people refrain from targeting that person," and concluded, "We will date well, so please watch over us."
On the day, 28th season contestant Sunja posted a photo taken with Mister Kim and said, "It is a great fortune for me to have someone by my side who gives me emotional stability."
