Singer Lee Sona, selected as the winner of the fourth season of "Miss Trot," expressed her emotional thoughts.
On the 6th, Lee Sona told OSEN about winning the TV CHOSUN entertainment program "Miss Trot 4," saying, "I still feel like I'm dreaming," expressing overwhelming emotions.
Earlier, Lee Sona was selected as the final winner on the "Miss Trot 4" broadcast on the 5th. After being chosen as a TOP5 member alongside Gil Ryeo-won, Yoon Tae-hwa, Hong Sung-yun, and Her Chanmi, she captivated the audience by passionately singing Patti Kim's "Love is the flower of life" in the final mission, the "life song mission."
In the midterm rankings, Her Chanmi was in first place with 1,973 points, while Lee Sona was in second with 1,972 points, a difference of just one point, and she won the final "jin (眞)" after gaining about 30,000 more votes in the final text voting.
In particular, the sight of her parents and her husband, Kang Sang Jun, watching and crying tears of joy was captured, tugging at the heart. Her mother has been battling Parkinson's disease for 20 years. Lee Sona turned the credit over, saying, "I felt an urgency that I had to succeed quickly before my mother got worse, but viewers gave me a chance to be filial. I am truly grateful."
Finally, Lee Sona said, "I will work even harder to become a singer who brings joy to the people," creating greater anticipation for her future activities.
Meanwhile, Lee Sona is a designated keeper of intangible cultural property No. 57 for Gyeonggi minyo and a skilled performer who has devoted more than 20 years to gugak. She encountered the geomungo and samgomu (三鼓舞) in elementary school and early on stood out by winning first place in the gugak category at the 2004 Gangwon-do middle and high school comprehensive practical competition. She then followed what is known as the "gugak elite course," attending the National Traditional Arts High School and the Korea National University of Arts' traditional arts program.
Lee Sona poured the skills she had built up over the years into "Miss Trot 4" and shone as she took the final victory.
