Lee Soon-sil on KBS2's 'Sadanggwi' reads palms to predict everything from Jun Hyun-moo and Kim Sook's marriages to the number of children.
KBS 2TV's 'The boss's ears are donkey ears' (directed by Choi Seung-hee, hereafter 'Sadanggwi') is a program of voluntary perspective-taking and self-reflection by Korea's bosses to create workplaces that make work enjoyable. Last episode recorded a peak rating of 5.2%, continuing its dominance as the No. 1 entertainment show in its time slot for 195 consecutive weeks. (Nielsen Korea 기준)
On the broadcast of 'Sadanggwi' airing on the 8th (Sun), self-proclaimed palmistry expert Lee Soon-sil's 'Sadanggwi palmistry shop' opens, stirring the studio. Lee Soon-sil said, "North Koreans all read palms well, so they don't show their palms even at weddings," showing confidence in her palm readings.
When Lee Soon-sil examined Kim Sook's hand, she confidently told her in just three seconds, "You'll marry three times. There are three men," startling Kim Sook. Kim Sook shouted in joy, "Three times? What's better than that," then expressed excitement about a third husband, asking, "Is it Yoon Jungsoo, Koo Bon-seung and then another one?"
Before anyone noticed, Jun Hyun-moo stealthily approached Lee Soon-sil and immediately showed his palm, causing laughter. Park Myung Soo and Kim Sook chimed in unison, "Hyun-moo, are you getting married? When?" showing more curiosity about Jun Hyun-moo's marriage status than Jun Hyun-moo himself and provoking uproarious laughter.
Lee Soon-sil boasted, "Wow~ it's a big marriage. He can get married in one go." Upon hearing this, Park Myung Soo and Kim Sook reacted, "Really? Congratulations," triggering automatic AI-like reactions. Lee Soon-sil even predicted Jun Hyun-moo's number of children, saying, "One boy and one girl," raising everyone's curiosity about whether it's really possible.
Whether Lee Soon-sil's 'my-way palm reading' is accurate, and the feel-good scene at Lee Soon-sil's palmistry hotspot even if it's not accurate, can be seen on the 'Sadanggwi' broadcast.
Meanwhile, KBS 2TV's 'The boss's ears are donkey ears' airs every Sunday at 4:40 p.m.
