Actor Kim Sung-ryoung and broadcaster Kim Sung-kyung, a former announcer, lost their mother.
On the 6th, the agency FN Entertainment said that the sisters' mother, Lee Hye-won, passed away on the 5th. She was 86.
Kim Sung-ryoung and Kim Sung-kyung are keeping watch at the funeral and greeting mourners with family.
The funeral parlor is set up in room 31 of the Seoul Gangnam St. Mary's Hospital funeral hall. The funeral service will be held at 10:20 a.m. on the 7th, and the burial site is Sangok Prayer Center.
Kim Sung-ryoung debuted in the entertainment industry after being selected as a finalist in the 32nd Miss Korea pageant in 1988. Since then, she has worked as an actor and continues to be loved for her unwavering beauty and acting skills.
Her younger sister Kim Sung-kyung began broadcasting in 1993 as an SBS announcer from the third open recruitment. Even after leaving SBS in 2002, about 10 years later, she has worked as a freelancer and continues to appear on various programs.
