The lead actors of the drama "Reply" series, Hyeri and Seo Inguk, reunited on YouTube content and showed a pleasant chemistry.
On the 6th, the YouTube channel "Hyels Club" released an episode featuring Jisoo and Seo Inguk as guests; Jisoo appears in the Netflix series "Boyfriend on Demand".
That day Hyeri mentioned her special connection with Seo Inguk and revealed behind-the-scenes stories of the "Reply" series. The two recalled that after the tvN 10th anniversary awards ceremony led by director Shin Won-ho, the cast of the "Reply" series all gathered for a meal together.
Since Seo Inguk was the lead of "Reply 1997" and Hyeri was the lead of "Reply 1988", there was a natural familiarity between them. Seo Inguk said, "Just having been in the same series creates an inner closeness," and Hyeri agreed, "It felt like meeting relatives."
The conversation naturally led to stories about crying after filming ended. Jisoo asked Seo Inguk, "Have you ever cried after a drama ended?" and Seo Inguk replied, "I felt choked up in the early stages." Hyeri, on the other hand, admitted candidly, "I've never not cried," adding, "I don't usually seem like someone who cries, but when the last shoot comes, I always bawl," which drew laughter.
But Jisoo's reaction was different. He calmly said, "The directors cried a lot, so I actually comforted the directors," adding, "I couldn't cry." He continued frankly, "On the last day of filming I tried to immerse myself deeply in the emotion, but I couldn't tell which part was supposed to be sad; I was just excited," which made people laugh.
Seo Inguk also talked about what makes him tear up. He said, "I don't usually cry. Instead, I cry when I see stories about family or animals." Seo Inguk, who said he even looks up sad videos, revealed with a laugh, "I cried so much that both tears and snot came out," and "Seeing that, I felt relieved and thought, 'Ah, I'm a person with a normal emotional line.'"
