Kim Joo-ha anchor revealed her son's recent status, showing the delighted look of a mother.
On the 5th, the YouTube channel "Oh Eun-young's Bucket List" posted a video titled "Finally met. Why Kim Joo-ha is thankful to Oh Eun-young (first confession · i-dle's recent status)." In the video, anchor Kim Joo-ha appears and shares the two people's connection along with updates on her children's recent status.
That day Kim Joo-ha opened up about her eldest son, saying, "He recently was accepted to university. He experienced a lot of frustration while playing baseball for 10 years." She said, "He was always getting hurt and even had surgery, so his self-esteem suffered a lot, but this time he seems to have achieved something for the first time."
Kim Joo-ha continued, "When I asked whether studying or sports is easier, he said studying is much easier. With studying, results show as you put in the work, but with sports, no matter how hard you try, if you get hurt it's over." She added with a smile, "I think it is more meaningful that my child regained his self-esteem than that he went to university."
Dr. Oh Eun-young also empathized with the son's change. Oh Eun-young advised, "It's not bad to try various experiences at a young age. Regardless of the outcome, doing what you like is meaningful."
In particular, Oh Eun-young drew attention by praising the appearance of Kim Joo-ha's son. She said, "How is he so handsome? I said it in passing, but if he can't play baseball he could even be a model—he's that handsome."
Kim Joo-ha modestly replied, "He's not that good-looking. But he is tall. He's 193cm, and it seems his growth almost stopped after his senior year." She added, "I enrolled him in a modeling academy so he could do high-paying part-time jobs to help with tuition."
After seeing photos of the son released at the production team's request, Oh Eun-young said, "He looks similar to Joo-ha," and the production team also admired the warm visuals. Kim Joo-ha, bashful, laughed, "His face is ordinary," and showed affection for her son.
Kim Joo-ha also mentioned changes in her son's academics. She said, "He used to be a child who received grades of 7 to 8, but at some point all subjects became grade 1," expressing surprise. Meanwhile, Kim Joo-ha married in 2004 and had two children, and after divorcing in 2016 she obtained both parental rights and custody and raised the children on her own.<
