After School alum Gah-ee revealed the behind-the-scenes story of her postnatal diet.
On the 6th episode of KBS 2TV's Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant (hereafter Fun-Staurant), Sunye invited Wonder Girls' eldest sister Yubin and After School leader Gah-ee to her home and served meals she had prepared herself.
That day the three talked about marriage and childbirth. Gah-ee asked Sunye, "How many kilograms did you gain when you were pregnant?" and Sunye replied, "My morning sickness was so severe that I only gained 9 kg."
In response, Nam Bo-ra, who is currently pregnant, exclaimed, "9 kg?" and Boom also reacted, "If it's 9 kg, it's almost like you didn't gain any weight." Gah-ee also could not hide her surprise, saying, "She must have been really skinny."
Gah-ee then shared her own experience. She said, "I gained 18 kg during pregnancy. But I didn't have any morning sickness at all."
When Sunye asked, "How long did it take for your body to return?", Gah-ee answered, "Three months," surprising everyone.
Gah-ee said, "After giving birth, my stomach should have gone in but it didn't. I was shocked by that," and added, "I breastfed for three months, then cut out carbohydrates for six months and exercised like crazy," drawing attention.
Meanwhile, Sunye stopped group activities in 2013, married a husband who was a former missionary, and has three daughters.<
