In a video released through "Jipdaeseong," Oh My Girl member Mimi shared behind-the-scenes stories from the shoot along with various popcorn mukbangs.
On the 6th, a video titled "DANGER (sweet) warning | Jipdaeseong ep.97 Mimi" was posted on the YouTube channel "Jipdaeseong."
At her appearance that day, Mimi introduced a variety of popcorn menu items and launched into a full mukbang.
The production team explained the menu, saying, "From the 'caramel popcorn'—the only thing you need is floral crown caramel popcorn essence!—selling 1.6 bags per second, to the sweet-and-salty combo 'low-sugar choco-bomb popcorn' dipped generously in raw chocolate fondue, and the 5th-generation beer snack sensation 'dakgangjeong popcorn.'" They added that the mukbang was rich as it featured the popcorn trend that went viral on social media of dipping popcorn in milk and almond sweet popcorn.
While continuing the mukbang, Mimi also talked about a recent variety show shoot. She mentioned her experience filming with Yu Jae-seok and Lee Kwangsoo and said, "I learn a lot by watching the atmosphere on set."
Recalling a shoot conducted under the 'cops and robbers' concept, she said, "I worked with Lee Young-ji, and 100,000 people applied to participate, but only 77 came to the site," adding, "It was the first time I had run that hard. It was so cold that my legs barely moved, but it felt like returning to childhood."
She also mentioned PD Na Young-seok, famous for directing variety shows. Mimi said, "Na Young-seok's style lets you go freely while guiding you to adapt quickly," and added, "It's not a formal atmosphere; he treats you like a father and daughter, so you can film comfortably."
