Actor Kim Bo-ra was cast in the original musical "6 o'clock quittin'" for the 2026 season.
The musical "6 o'clock quittin'" depicts the story of the publicity team 2 at the confectionery company "Afternoon" forming a workplace band called "6 o'clock quittin'" to save the fading brand Autumn Moon Bread. While portraying realities of Korean society such as youth unemployment, job insecurity and nonregular employment, it is a work that warmly unfolds the journey of characters who recover their dreams through music.
In the play, Kim Bo-ra plays employee Choi Da-yeon, who dreams of becoming a travel writer and diligently manages both work and love. Kim Bo-ra, joining the cast for the first time this season, will add vitality to the stage with her distinctive crisp charm and bright, lovable energy.
Kim Bo-ra has been gaining attention across various genres such as music, drama and musical for her clear vocal tone and stable acting. She has steadily expanded her musical range through numerous OSTs and cover content, and recently showed a deeper sensibility by releasing the new song "Scarf".
She has also established herself as a versatile artist by demonstrating solid acting in various works such as the dramas "Accidental chaebol bride", "Andante of love", and the musicals "Beyond the Door 'Hana: Starting Over'", "Page-na". Attention is focused on what new charms she will captivate audiences with in this production.
Meanwhile, the musical "6 o'clock quittin'" featuring Kim Bo-ra will be performed at Yegrin Theater from May 1 to July 26.
