Actor Jung Yu-mi will appear in Netflix's new series "Love Affair" (working title).
On the 6th, OSEN reported that Jung Yu-mi recently received a script offer for Netflix's new series "Love Affair" and, after reviewing it positively, has decided to appear.
"Love Affair" is the new work of director Mo Wan-il, who wrote "The World of the Married," which recorded the highest ratings in generalist cable drama history. The story centers on a couple who had stable jobs and a happy married life but face catastrophe because of a fatal love that suddenly appears like a traffic accident. While some settings appear similar to "The World of the Married," there are reports that the level of expression and developments are even more shocking.
In particular, the male lead in his early 40s, Kim Ji-hun, falls into a passionate love with another woman aside from his wife, driving the once-happy family toward ruin, and Jung Yu-mi is expected to play Kim Ji-hun's wife in the drama.
Earlier, Jung Yu-mi left Management Soop, with which she had been for nine years, signed an exclusive contract with new agency NOON Company, and "Love Affair" is expected to be the first project she presents after changing agencies. This will also be the first time Jung Yu-mi and Lee Dongwook act together.
"Love Affair" is a project scheduled to begin filming in the first half of this year, and shooting could start as early as this month. It is known that there will be overseas location shoots in Spain. Ha Soo-jin, the writer of KBS2's "The Matchmakers," wrote the script, and director Mo Wan-il of "The World of the Married" is directing. The production company is FNC Story, and the distribution platform is the global OTT Netflix.<
