The MBC program 'Radio Star' aired on the afternoon of the 4th as a special titled 'This area's final boss! Let's go~' featuring Oh Seung-hwan, Lee Cheol-min, Jo Hyun-ah and Yang Sang-guk.
Known as a major connector in the entertainment industry, Jo Hyun-ah boasts glamorous connections with Suzy, Nana, P.O., Lee Sung-kyoung and others. Regarding this, Jo Hyun-ah said, "Many people think Jo Hyun-ah gives gifts and waits on famous entertainers to be close to them," mentioning the misunderstanding-laced glances from others and drawing laughter.
Jo Hyun-ah said, "Everyone thinks that, but these people were my fans first," and especially mentioned her special relationship with Suzy. Jo Hyun-ah said, "Suzy really has a kind heart. If she can't reach you, she comes to your house. She checks even your toes to see if you're breathing," referring to her close bond with Suzy.
Jo Hyun-ah recalled the most difficult time and confessed, "One day my mother collapsed and a disease was discovered," and later she had the painful memory of holding a funeral when her mother passed away.
Recalling that time, Jo Hyun-ah said, "Suzy stayed at the funeral for three days," surprising everyone. Despite many mourners at the funeral recognizing Suzy, she steadfastly stayed for all three days and accompanied them to the burial site.
Jo Hyun-ah said she was able to heal the great pain of losing her mother thanks to Suzy's sincere consolation and added, "I really wanted to talk about this on the show. Suzy is my guardian angel," expressing her gratitude.
