Blackpink demonstrated overwhelming presence by winning both the weekly and monthly Hanteo charts and then sweeping three crowns on the Circle Chart.
On the 5th, according to Circle Chart, operated by the Korea Music Content Association, Blackpink's mini 3rd album [DEADLINE], released at 2 p.m. on the 27th of last month, ranked No. 1 on the album chart for week 9 (2026.02.22~02.28). Total sales were 1,750,692 copies, an achievement recorded with only a day and a half of tallying.
In addition, Blackpink topped the retail album chart and social chart 3.0, claiming all thrones on the Circle Chart. As this is the group's first full-group release in about 3 years and 5 months, it is interpreted that intense interest from music fans worldwide led to these results.
Earlier, YG had said, "Global demand for the album has far exceeded initial expectations, and additional production is currently underway." In fact, the album recorded 1.46 million copies sold on the first day, the highest first-day sales for a K-pop female artist on Hanteo Chart, and showed unusual signs of popularity by simultaneously topping the weekly and monthly charts with only two and a half days of tallying.
Blackpink's mini 3rd album [DEADLINE] is an album containing "the irreplaceable best moments of Blackpink" and "Blackpink at their brightest in those best moments." It includes five tracks in total, featuring the title track "GO," which showcases their distinctive positive and confident energy, as well as "Jump ( 뛰어 (JUMP) )", "Me and my", "Champion" and "Fxxxboy."
Blackpink is drawing rave reviews from major overseas media for this album. Rolling Stone praised, "Blackpink has returned to their prime," adding, "The four members' accumulated individualities are clear while Blackpink asserted their presence in the way they do best." Billboard also introduced "GO," calling it "a song that truly represents the group."
