Singer and actress Nana will appear on MBC variety show "Omniscient Interfering View."
On the 5th, OSEN reported that Nana recently decided to appear on MBC's popular variety show "Omniscient Interfering View," and will record soon with the episode slated to air later this month.
It has been 12 years since Nana appeared on an observational variety show, her last appearance being SBS' "Roommate" in 2014. Given the format of "Omniscient Interfering View," in which guests appear with their managers, viewers can expect to see Nana's previously unseen small, ordinary daily life as well as behind-the-scenes moments the public did not know about.
Nana, who debuted in 2009 as a member of the girl group After School, showed her versatility by joining the ORANGE CARAMEL unit and transforming into a solo artist last year. Her first solo album went beyond simply participating in vocals or showing performances; she actively participated in album production and also did the producing herself.
In addition to her singing career, she pursued acting and received praise for her first performance in the 2016 drama "The Good Wife." Since then, she has appeared in dramas such as "Kill It," "Justice," "Exit" (Chulsapyo), "Oh! Master," "Glitch," "Mask Girl," and "Player 2," and in films such as "The Swindlers," "Confession," and "Omniscient Reader: The Prophet."
She is also set to appear this year in ENA's new Monday-Tuesday drama "Climax" and the Netflix new release "Scandal."
In "Climax," which premieres on the 16th, she plays Hwang Jeong-won, who moves between the government and the entertainment industry handling information, and in "Scandal" she plays Hee-yeon, who, after losing her husband and living with chastity, tries to shut out Cho-won, who approaches her. The work is a remake of the 2003 film "Scandal," and it newly reinterprets the aunt character previously played by Jeon Do-yeon.<
