Actor the late Kang Myeong-ju, who left a strong impression as IU's future mother-in-law in Netflix's When Life Gives You Tangerines, has been gone for a year, and her daughter, actor Park Se-young, expressed deep longing.
On the 4th Park Se-young posted several photos on her social media with the repeated phrase "I miss you I miss you I miss you I miss you I miss you I miss you."
The released photos contain images of the late Kang Myeong-ju during her lifetime that draw attention. They capture everything from the glamorous beauty of her prime to her loving mother self, holding a young Park Se-young in her arms with a bright smile. Park Se-young added the caption "Hurry and meet me again, I love you my beautiful and precious mother—Myeong-ju" expressing deep love and longing for her mother.

The late Kang Myeong-ju was an actress who was loved by the public for her kindly yet composed image during her lifetime. Park Se-young followed in her mother's footsteps as an actor, and they reportedly became each other's strongest support and best friend.
The late Kang Myeong-ju passed away on Feb. 27 last year after battling breast cancer. She was 54.
She debuted in 1992 with the Theater Experiment's Kuni, Nara and went on to appear in numerous stage plays including Gu Il-man Hamlet, Blood and Seed, 20th Century Blues, and BiBea, actively working on many theatrical stages. She continued stage acting out of passion for acting and influenced younger performers. She also left an impression on the public with a charismatic presence when she played a judge in the drama Extraordinary Attorney Woo.
Later, in When Life Gives You Tangerines she played Yoon Bu-yong, the mother of Park Young-beom (Lee Junyoung), leaving a strong impression. When Life Gives You Tangerines became the late Kang Myeong-ju's final work, and the production team paid tribute to her in the ending credits.
