KBS2's new miniseries "Sim Woo-myeon Yeonriri" released a second poster showcasing the charm of the eccentric Seong family.
The KBS2 new miniseries "Sim Woo-myeon Yeonriri" (directed by Choi Yeon-soo, written by Song Jeong-rim and Wang Hye-ji), scheduled to air on the 26th, is a reboot family healing drama about the real urban Seong Tae-hoon family, who suddenly land in the pristine but daunting area "Yeonriri," struggling to return to Seoul.
The second poster released today (the 5th) centers on Seong Tae-hoon (Park Sung-woong) and captures scenes that convey the warm and harmonious daily life of his wife Jo Mi-ryeo (Lee Soo-kyung), and sons Seong Ji-cheon (Lee Jinwoo), Seong Ji-sang (Seo Yun-hyeok), and Seong Ji-gu (Yang Woo-hyeok).
The Seong family, sitting side by side in the living room of the Yeonriri house, look at the camera with expressions as bright as sunlight, creating an amiable atmosphere. The affectionate family, who could plausibly live somewhere in our neighborhood, brings a smile to viewers' faces.
Seong Tae-hoon shows a benevolent smile and serves as a solid pillar as the K-family head, while Jo Mi-ryeo, who took care of the three sons while busy with company work instead of her husband, further asserts her presence by firmly holding the center of the family.
Meanwhile, the eldest son Seong Ji-cheon sits pensively, the second son Seong Ji-sang displays the charms typical of an adolescent boy, and the youngest Seong Ji-gu clings to Jo Mi-ryeo with an "mama's boy" demeanor that multiplies his lovability. With the brothers' distinctly different personalities apparent at a glance, attention turns to how the Seong family's adaptation to the pristine but daunting area Yeonriri will unfold. The five actors' identical smiles and natural chemistry are expected to enhance the show's synergy.
Regarding this, the production team said the family, who had been fending for themselves, will depict family unity, love and individual growth through the process of suddenly moving to the countryside and living relying on each other, and that Park Sung-woong, Lee Soo-kyung, Lee Jinwoo, Seo Yun-hyeok and Yang Woo-hyeok are showing perfect chemistry like a real family on set. They asked for viewers' interest in the broadcast that will be responsible for viewers' joys, sorrows, anger and delight.
Meanwhile, "Sim Woo-myeon Yeonriri," which will settle into Thursday prime time, is directed by Choi Yeon-soo, who co-directed "Pump Up the Healthy Love," "Crazy Love" and "Chulsapyo," and is co-written by Song Jeong-rim, who wrote "My Merry Marriage" and "The Bride of the Typhoon," and Wang Hye-ji, who wrote "Romance Without Love."
