"We promised our fans that we'd be back"(팬분들한테 돌아오겠다고 약속했어요)
BTS on the 5th at 9 a.m. released the trailer video and poster for 'BTS comeback live: ARIRANG' (BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG) on their official social media. This video begins with the passionate cheers and shouts of ARMY, the fandom name, that once echoed through past concert venues. Hearing this, the members express emotions like "I really miss you" and convey their affectionate feelings toward the fans.
Then RM's narration "We promised our fans that we'd be back" transitions the scene to Gyeongbokgung. The members reveal a powerful presence against the backdrop of Gyeongbokgung where day and night intersect. The phrases "THE WORLD'S BIGGEST BAND IS BACK" and "WITNESS THE HOMECOMING" appear, heightening anticipation for the comeback. The members said, "I felt a lot that each thing is somehow different," and "I think the seven of us can continue to walk this path together and continue to swim forward," showing strong will and expectation for a new journey. The poster released with the video drew attention with silhouettes of the seven members standing in front of Gwanghwamun.
BTS will release their fifth full-length album 'ARIRANG' on the 20th and hold a comeback live around Gwanghwamun Plaza in Seoul at 8 p.m. on the 21st. Hamish Hamilton, who directed the 2012 London Olympic opening ceremony and the Super Bowl halftime show in the United States, will take the megaphone to present a stage befitting a global event. Those who cannot attend in person can watch live from anywhere in the world via Netflix.
Meanwhile, the title track 'SWIM' from BTS's new album 'ARIRANG' sings about the stance of continuing to swim forward without stopping amid life's waves. It frames the will to calmly get through the incoming currents at one's own pace as "a love of life." RM took charge of most of the songwriting, adding authenticity to the song's message.<
