HYBE-Geffen Records' global girl group KATSEYE is showing a strong presence on the U.S. Billboard main album chart.
According to the latest chart released by Billboard (March 7), KATSEYE's second EP 'BEAUTIFUL CHAOS' rose to No. 77 on the Billboard 200. The album, which previously peaked at No. 4 (July 12, 2025), has now charted for 35 consecutive weeks. It is the longest-charting girl group album released last year.
It is also showing steady strength on detailed album charts. 'BEAUTIFUL CHAOS' ranked No. 15 on this week's top album sales chart. True to an album that ranked No. 7 among the best-selling physical albums in the U.S. in 2025 (Luminate's "2025 annual report"), it is encouraging that it still maintains a high position on the sales chart.
Their first EP, 'SIS (Soft Is Strong)', released in August 2024, also showed an upward trend. 'SIS (Soft Is Strong)' rose 36 spots from the previous week to No. 156 on the Billboard 200, marking its 10th week on the chart. It also rose nine places from the previous week to No. 12 on the top album sales chart.
Along with the albums' popularity, the songs are also loved. 'Gabriela', a track from 'BEAUTIFUL CHAOS', ranked No. 48 on the Global 200 and No. 47 on the Global (excluding U.S.) chart. Both charts mark 36 consecutive weeks of entry. The song's long-running popularity stands out after it earlier climbed to No. 21 on the main song chart, the Hot 100 (Jan. 17, 2026), making a major impact on global charts.
KATSEYE was formed through the audition project based on the 'K-pop methodology', 'The Debut: Dream Academy', and is cited as a representative success case of the 'multi-home, multi-genre' strategy led by HYBE chairman Bang Si-hyuk. The group is scheduled to perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April.
