All-rounder artist WOODZ (Woods, Cho Seung-yeon) releases his first full-length album, Archive. 1, today (4th) at 6 p.m. through various online music platforms, marking the start of his full-scale comeback activities.
Archive. 1 is Woods' first full-length album and the first record announcing a new start. It condenses the musical colors he has built up over a long time and the things he likes and does well, and it contains a variety of genres and charms across a total of 17 songs. Woods, who participated in writing, composing and producing all the tracks, said through this album that he will move past the 'preparation stage' and stand at the starting point of a full-fledged leap.
The album includes a total of 17 tracks, including double title tracks Human Extinction and NA NA NA, pre-released song CINEMA, and Bloodline, spanning a wide genre spectrum such as rock ballad, pop punk, jazz and alternative R&B. To commemorate the release, Woods shared a written Q&A.

Q1. How do you feel about releasing your first full-length album, Archive. 1, since your debut?
I am most excited to be releasing my first full-length album in my 13th year since debut. With as many as 17 tracks, each song has a different charm, and I am curious how listeners will feel about them.
Q2. What kind of album is Archive. 1? I'm also curious about the meaning of the title.
Looking back on my activities so far, I think it was a kind of preparation stage for me. I made this album with the thought that there are so many directions I want to show from this point. The title Archive. 1 is, literally, my first archiving—gathering and recording the things I like and do well that I have felt through my activities until now.
Q3. What did you pay the most attention to while preparing this album?
Because there are as many as 17 tracks, I put extra effort into making each song a highly complete result. I also prepared concept photos, music videos, films and concert projects so listeners can immerse themselves in the album from various visual perspectives. Being my first full-length album and a large-scale project in many ways, I paid a lot of attention to making it enjoyable.
Q4. Among the 17 songs, is there one you feel particularly attached to?
Actually I'm attached to all the tracks, but I feel particularly attached to Human Extinction and NA NA NA. Human Extinction wasn't originally planned to be on the album, but I was drawn to the song's destructive power and, upon listening again, it ended up becoming a title track. NA NA NA has a great melody and track, so I personally like it, and it was also the song most liked by musician acquaintances before the release, so I feel attached to it.
Q5. Is there an image you want to show through this album? I'm also curious about the reactions you'd like to hear or goals you hope to achieve.
Rather than wanting to show a specific image through this album, I wanted to do my best to show what I can do. I'm curious what kind of artist people will see me as afterward. I haven't set a specific goal for this album, but I hope to be remembered as an artist whose next move people are curious about and as an artist people would actually like to hear live. Furthermore, I hope to show efforts toward my dream of becoming an artist who can do stadium-scale world tours.
Q6. You have a world tour of the same name starting on March 14—what are the points to look forward to?
The biggest point of this concert is that many songs from the full-length album will be included. You can enjoy live stages of full-length album songs that have never been revealed before, and you will also meet songs that represent me. We prepared various arrangements and stage compositions to make it enjoyable, so please give it lots of interest and love.
Q7. Finally, is there anything you'd like to say to listeners and fans?
