KBS (President Park Jang-beom) vowed to prove this year that changes from AI innovation will produce results as it marks the 53rd anniversary of the corporation. Following last year's declaration of the "year of AI," it announced more advanced plans.
Park Jang-beom, president of KBS, said at the "KBS 53rd anniversary ceremony" held at the KBS headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul, on the 4th that this year's KBS AI innovation vision is ▲efficiency ▲creativity ▲trust and public service, and said it is now time for KBS to prove the changes from that innovation with results.
President Park emphasized that AI innovation means, "We should leave simple and repetitive tasks to AI and focus on producing high-quality content that surpasses limits," and that "AI is an essential infrastructure for faster, more accurate and deeper public journalism."
Park then revealed concrete plans for this year's content. In the second half, with the traditional grand historical drama "Munmu" he promised to deliver deep narratives and intense performances that give viewers strong emotion, and he vowed to prove the value of KBS content by fully launching Music Bank's entry into the U.S. market this year.

Finally, President Park encouraged employees, saying, "I firmly believe that KBS will wisely and faithfully prepare for, respond to and adapt well to the major governance changes in the broadcasting media industry," and urged, "let us build a KBS that goes deeper into people's lives and delivers hope and emotion together."
