Group 2NE1 member Park Bom suddenly targeted Sandara Park with shocking allegations, and an associate downplayed them as untrue to contain the situation.
On the 3rd, Park Bom posted a handwritten letter on her personal SNS with the remark "To. 국민 여러분들에게".
That day Park Bom said, "To the 국민여러분들에게.. hello I am Park Bom. I am writing because I want to tell you the truth like this, because I want to talk" and opened by saying, "Have you been well? I am not sick and I am living diligently. I will speak cautiously, I am going to say something frightening."
She said, "I am cautious because it might cause another uproar, but adderall, the drug known as a controlled psychotropic, worries me. I don't want to repeat it.. even if I die, if I say it again on the news it might be a road to ruin..ㅜㅜ" and claimed, "I died then. But I gather courage and speak. That's not a drug. I have ADD. This is called attention deficit disorder. Park Sandara was caught for drugs and to cover that up made Park Bom out to be a drug user."
She added, "At the time, there were no drugs called adderall in the country, and there was no law. Strangely, after Park Bom the law was created. Internet 국민 여러분들, please investigate it as it is."
While Park Bom made the shocking allegations, OSEN confirmed that they were groundless. That same afternoon, Park Bom's associate told OSEN, "We just became aware of the content a short while ago. As you know, this occurred due to Park Bom's unstable health. We ask for your understanding." Afterwards Park Bom deleted the post.
Meanwhile, Park Bom suspended activities from August of last year due to health issues. At the time, the agency said, "We apologize for causing concern due to Park Bom's recent personal SNS posts. Currently Park Bom is emotionally very unstable and communication is not smooth, so treatment and rest for recovery are desperately needed."
In response, Dineation said, "As the SNS post has spread through various channels, it is being interpreted differently from the facts or causing unnecessary misunderstandings," and urged, "Please refrain from indiscriminately sharing the post."
