A two-person poster full of excitement featuring Yoon Jong-hoon and Uhm Hyun-kyung for "Gippeun Uri Joheun Nal" has been released.
The new KBS 1TV daily drama "Gippeun Uri Joheun Nal" (directed by Lee Jae-sang, written by Nam Sun-hye), which is set to premiere on the 30th, is a life-or-death tug-of-war between the world's most perfect man and a bungling woman! It is a melodramatic family drama created by multiple generations, each wanting to be "the protagonist of my life."
Yoon Jong-hoon plays Go-gyeol, an exceptionally capable and perfect man who is the boss of bosses, and Uhm Hyun-kyung plays Jo Eun-ae, a hapless yet happy-virus-filled character. Through an unexpected encounter that turns them into bad blood, the two become entangled again because of Joy, an AI friend developed by Jo Eun-ae, and begin a life-or-death struggle to achieve their respective goals.
On the 4th (today), the "Gippeun Uri Joheun Nal" side released a two-person poster in which Yoon Jong-hoon and Uhm Hyun-kyung's fresh smiles stand out, whetting anticipation for the first broadcast.
Against a backdrop of a forest of buildings, Yoon Jong-hoon and Uhm Hyun-kyung, holding hands, radiate energy that just looking at them puts you in a good mood. Yoon Jong-hoon stylishly expressed the calm yet rational Go-gyeol character with a neutral-toned mood, and Uhm Hyun-kyung showed Jo Eun-ae's bouncy charm with casual styling. The two's perfect visual chemistry, which captivates prospective viewers' attention, is expected to deliver a special thrill to living-room audiences.
Contrary to the affectionate atmosphere in the poster, a rugged struggle awaits Yoon Jong-hoon and Uhm Hyun-kyung, adding to the curiosity. The man, who suddenly enters his family's succession race, and the woman, who must retrieve her AI friend "Joy" that the man's company took, already promise to make for an exciting series of incidents. On top of this, an unpredictable four-way relationship and warm family stories that all generations can relate to will add fuel, promising to heat up weekday evenings.
Meanwhile, director Lee Jae-sang, recognized for warm and meticulous direction in "Once Again" and "Father Is Strange," and writer Nam Sun-hye, who showcased trendy writing in "Suji Mat-eun Uri" and "Amor Fati: Love Now," have teamed up for the KBS 1TV new daily drama "Gippeun Uri Joheun Nal," which will follow "Marie and Her Three Daddies" and premiere on Mar. 30 (Mon.) at 8:30 p.m.
