A friend's tribute to the late Lee Seon-gyun drew attention.
Recently, actor-turned Kim Jin-kyung, known as a close friend of the late Lee Seon-gyun, posted a short video on her social media with the message "Happy birthday. It's raining. The rain makes me feel down. I'll remember. You remember too. Let's chat in a dream, Seon-gyun."
In the released video, Lee Seon-gyun's tombstone was shown with the inscription "Everything is nostalgic today..I love you"
Also on the tombstone were a soju bottle and a soju cup filled, and the sight of raindrops falling on them drew attention.
Netizens who saw the post expressed their condolences with comments such as "I miss actor Seon-gyun too," "I will never forget," and "He was truly a great actor."
Meanwhile, the late Lee Seon-gyun made his official acting debut in 2001 by appearing in the MBC sitcom Lovers and married actress Jeon Hye-jin in 2009; they have two sons.
He died at the age of 48 on Dec. 27, 2023. At the time, he was found dead inside a vehicle in a parking area near a park in Jongno-gu, Seoul.<
