SBS 'Monggeul Counseling Center' theme song will be sung by Lee Hyori and produced by Lee Sang Soon.
The SBS special 'My heart is monggeulgonggul - Monggeul Counseling Center' (hereafter 'Monggeul Counseling Center', directed by Go Hye-rin), which will premiere at 11:05 p.m. on the 8th, is about young people with developmental disabilities creating their first romances. It is a new challenge by PD Go Hye-rin, who won the Baeksang Arts Awards' grand prize for 'Hakjeon and after thing Kim Min-ki', and the couple of 14 years who are renowned as a representative loving couple in the entertainment industry, Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon, will appear as the 'counseling center heads' to help the romances of the developmentally disabled youth (hereafter "Monggeul") who dream of love, promising a pleasant synergy.
Among them, the song gifted by No Young-shim, the music director of 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo', will be sung by Lee Hyori and produced by Lee Sang Soon, bringing together an 'OST avengers' lineup that raises expectations. It is unusual for the three to work together on an OST, attracting attention.
The theme song of 'Monggeul Counseling Center', 'Dallayo', was composed and written by No Young-shim during work on the 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo' OST, and after hearing about 'Monggeul Counseling Center' from the couple Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon, she readily gifted this song to support them. In particular, No Young-shim poured affection into this project to the extent of re-recording the piano performance.
Above all, with Lee Hyori singing and Lee Sang Soon producing, a special musical gift for 'Monggeul Counseling Center' has been completed.
Lee Hyori said, "Toward the end of filming, No Young-shim heard about our program and said she had a song that came to mind and sent a song she had written before," and added, "the song was so good, and I was happy to sing because I felt I could express the feelings I experienced meeting the friends on 'Monggeul Counseling Center.'" Lee Sang Soon said, "After hearing the song No Young-shim gifted, I thought it fit 'Monggeul Counseling Center' so well," expressing his affection for the project.
Lee Hyori described 'Dallayo' as "we are all different, and we fear being lonely because of that difference. This song expresses asking someone to be by your side as you are, without pretending to be tough or okay." She introduced the song by saying, "I hope people focus on the lyrics and listen as they are." Lee Sang Soon, who produced the song, also conveyed the sincerity in the lyrics, saying, "Like the lyrics, I hope you 'look at us as we are' and listen."
The song 'Dallayo', born from the warm support of Lee Hyori, Lee Sang Soon and No Young-shim for 'Monggeul Counseling Center' and the matchmaking project for young people with developmental disabilities, is scheduled to be released on various music sites at 6 p.m. on the 16th (Mon).
