IST Entertainment's rookie boy band TUNEXX completed their debut showcase.
TUNEXX (Donggyu, Inhoo, Taira, Seongjun, Jeon, Sihwan, Artic) released their first mini album SET BY US ONLY on the 3rd and held a debut commemorative fan showcase the same day at the YES24 Live Hall in Gwangjin District, Seoul.
At the showcase, TUNEXX performed their debut title track "The proof that I am alive," the album intro track "100%," and the SBS drama No Tail to Tell OST "One Last Chance," which they participated in as a full group before debut.
Despite it being their first stage, the TUNEXX members left a strong impression with uncommon confidence and energy on "The proof that I am alive." In particular, their powerful performance and sophisticated groove captured attention. TUNEXX's strong chemistry and hip charm unfolded across the stage, demonstrating high expectations.
They also showcased a diverse spectrum from their debut day with "100%," which conveys ambition and individuality, and "One Last Chance," which highlights youthful vocals.
As it was TUNEXX's first meeting with fans as a group, the members shared various behind-the-scenes stories at the fan showcase, including the debut process and dorm life, engaging in active communication. The profiles written by TUNEXX were revealed for the first time, and various K-pop dance challenge corners, including "The proof that I am alive," "Jeonya," "BANG BANG," "Siren," and "WHERE YOU AT," also received enthusiastic reactions from fans.
Through the showcase, TUNEXX expressed their determination to begin full-scale activities and their debut impressions. Jeon said, "I will continue to work hard as I have until now to repay the fans and keep growing," and Donggyu said, "I feel happy and grateful as if I have been rewarded for the long days of practice. I look forward to the new journeys ahead."
Seongjun said, "It was so good to be able to debut in front of the fans. I will not be complacent and will move forward," and Sihwan promised, "As this is just the beginning, we will prove as the group TUNEXX that we are a group with unlimited possibilities with our own frequency that cannot be confined." Inhoo said, "There were so many days, but they were all days for today. I will repay you with a good image."
The foreign members also gave their debut impressions in fluent Korean. Artic said, "Thank you for always supporting us. I don't think I will forget this moment. I will work hard to become a better artist," and Taira said, "It's already been four years since I came from Japan dreaming of debuting, and seeing the fans today made all the hard memories disappear—I was truly happy. I will create great stages going forward."
TUNEXX will begin full-scale activities this week with the title track "The proof that I am alive" from their mini album SET BY US ONLY.
