YG Entertainment on the 4th posted '2026 YG PLAN | YG ANNOUNCEMENT' on its official blog and revealed its 2026 roadmap. Last month on the 27th Blackpink released their mini album 3 'DEADLINE' and returned as a full group, opening the 30th anniversary, and a packed lineup follows.
First, YG's representative IP Big Bang, which turned 20 this year, is returning. Alongside activities by Big Bang and TREASURE that will strengthen YG's identity, the company will also work on discovering new IP. First, this fall it will launch a new boy group, the first in six years since TREASURE. Yang Hyun-suk previously spoke about a male trainee team being considered for debut last year, saying, "I continue to study and analyze these kids. Next year I definitely want to launch a team."
